Turkish mosaic lamp & resin art workshops in Dallas, TX

Dallas moves fast — which is exactly why an evening spent placing glass tile by hand, one piece at a time, tends to land differently here than anywhere else on the calendar. Art Masterclass brings its two most popular hands-on workshops to Dallas: the Turkish Mosaic Lamp Workshop and the Resin Art Workshop, both run in small groups with an instructor guiding every step.

The mosaic lamp session is built around a craft that's roughly 500 years old, reimagined as a two-to-two-and-a-half-hour studio evening. You choose a lamp shape — table lamp, mini table lamp, swan, moon, and several others — then work outward from a centre motif in coloured glass, mirrored tile, and beads, either following a printed template or designing freehand. Turkish coffee and Turkish delight are served partway through, which tends to be the moment strangers start comparing work across the table. If mosaic isn't the draw, the Resin Art Workshop is a shorter, looser two hours: pigment poured and tilted through resin, with a result that never repeats the same way twice.

Neither workshop assumes any prior experience. Materials, tools, and the base object are included in the price, so there's nothing to source or bring beyond yourself — this is a genuine walk-in-and-make-something session, not a demo you watch. It works equally well as a first date, a birthday plan, a team outing for a Dallas office, or a solo evening that doesn't involve a screen.

Art Masterclass runs these sessions across more than 80 cities in the United States and has built up over 5,000 five-star reviews along the way, but the Dallas sessions are booked locally, at a real studio location in the city — see the current venue details and available dates below.
